Agreement to Terms
Welcome to MatchMeal! By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you may not use the app.
Eligibility
Age Requirements • You must be at least 13 years old to use MatchMeal • Users between 13 and 18 must have parental or guardian consent By using the app, you represent that you meet these requirements and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
Account & User Code
The app automatically creates a guest account when you first launch it. You will be assigned a unique user code for identification. You are responsible for: • Keeping your user code secure • All activities that occur under your account • Maintaining accurate profile information You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.

IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: MatchMeal provides recipe information for discovery and inspirational purposes only. We are not liable for any health issues, allergic reactions, or adverse effects resulting from recipes found through the app. You acknowledge and agree that: • You are solely responsible for verifying ingredient information before consuming any recipe • Allergen information provided may not be comprehensive or up-to-date • Recipe nutritional information is approximate and may not be accurate • The app is not a substitute for professional nutritional or medical advice While we provide allergen filtering features, we cannot guarantee complete accuracy. Recipes may contain trace amounts of allergens not listed. IF YOU HAVE SERIOUS FOOD ALLERGIES, PLEASE EXERCISE EXTREME CAUTION AND ALWAYS VERIFY INGREDIENTS INDEPENDENTLY.
Use of the App
You may use MatchMeal to: • Discover and browse recipes • Participate in feast sessions (solo, duo, and group) • Save and organize your favorite recipes • Create and publish your own recipes • Track ingredients you have at home (My Ingredients) • Set dietary preferences and allergen filters • Share feast codes with friends You agree NOT to: • Use the app for any illegal purpose • Harass, abuse, or harm other users • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems • Reverse engineer or modify the app • Collect user information without consent • Create multiple accounts to abuse features
Feast Sessions & User Interactions
When participating in duo or group feasts: • Be respectful and courteous to other participants • Your display name and avatar are visible to feast participants • Swiping activity during sessions is shared with other participants • Do not share sensitive personal information during feasts Feast sessions operate in real-time and require internet connectivity. We are not responsible for connection issues or synchronization problems.
Intellectual Property
All content in the app, including recipe information, images, design, and software code, is owned by MatchMeal or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Recipes may be sourced from third-party providers. Recipe content is provided for personal, non-commercial use only.
Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. We do not warrant that: • Recipe information is accurate, complete, or current • Recipes are safe for individuals with allergies • The app will be uninterrupted or error-free TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MATCHMEAL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING HEALTH ISSUES OR ALLERGIC REACTIONS FROM RECIPES.
Changes to Terms
We may modify these terms at any time. For material changes, we will notify you through the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
